Me with my old puppy, Snoopy
I'm a product designer based in NYC, but I was born and raised in Managua, Nicaragua.
Growing up in Nicaragua shaped my understanding of technology’s potential to create meaningful change. My experiences have sparked my passion for bridging the gap between tech and underserved communities. I approach design as both a science and a tool for empowerment, believing everyone deserves equitable access to technology that improves their lives.
I'm a designer with a knack for finding problems, whether it's minor inconveniences or major pain points, I can (and will) find the root issue through extensive user research!
When I'm not working, I like to build houses in the Sims 3, build my CD collection, or learn new nail painting techniques.
I graduated from Cornell University in 2023, with a major in Information Science and a concentration in Behavioral Science.
All my life, I wished to become a veterinarian. This passion followed me all the way to college, where I was an Animal Science major. Life took its turns, and now I'm a product designer! However, the scientific mindset never left, so I like to think of myself as a scientist when it comes to my design approach.
Outside of academics, I was a part of the student organization Underrepresented Minorities in Computing (URMC), as well as the co-founder and vice president of programming of Asociación de Centroamericanos Unidos (ACaU).
